Tips for Writing Better Slogans

There are countless articles that have been written with titles like "How to write a great slogan" or "How to write catchy slogans."  Some of these articles are useful, while others just regurgitate the same thing over and over again.

Below are links to two helpful articles that contain tips for writing good slogans.

The PrintWand article has some good information, but I wouldn't wholeheartedly agree with the last tip (#8: Don't Be a Comedian).  Humor definitely has a time and place, but if you can pull it off -- and if it's relevant to your product -- a slogan that makes someone laugh can connect with potential consumers and catch their eye (or ear).
